LOCATION AND CONTACT
We are located in Stratford, E15
(10 minutes away from Plaistow, West Ham and Stratford Station)
Hair drop off is in Dagenham, RM9 and can be dropped off via letterbox.
Both locations will be available upon booking confirmation and appointment address 48hrs prior to your appointment.

SLOTS
Slots are released on the second sunday of the month.
DEPOSITS
There is a non-refundable £25 deposit required to secure your booking. They are non refundable any circumstances except we have cancel on our behalf.
ADD ONS
Please ensure you select relevant add ons when booking as they may not be available to add onto your booking on the day.
CANCELLATIONS & LATENESS
There is a 10 minute grace period, being more than 10 minutes late will result in a £10 late fee. More than 20 minutes your appointment will be cancelled.
Rescheduling within 96 hours will result in a new deposit being required.
No shows and cancellations (Within 24hrs) will incur a full charge and the deposit is remains non refundable.
EMERGENCY & PREMIUM APPOINTMENTS
Our working hours are 10am-5pm
Slots before or after this timeframe (before 10am and 6pm slots) - are an additional £20 added to your appointment balance
Out of hours unavailable on the website may be available upon request.
Emergency slots are available upon request and are an additional £20 added to your balance
Sunday slots incur a £20 fee

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How often are appointments released?
Appointment are released on the second sunday of each month
- What services do you offer?
We offer frontal, ponytails, closure installs and colouring.
Drop off outside the timeframe given can result in a £20 fee or your appointment being delayed/ cancelled.
- What is the hair drop off period and instructions?
For pre-made installations the hair is to be dropped off 5 days prior to your appointment and for custom wigs 7 days.
Monday - Saturday 10am to 5pm
Hair attempted to be dropped off outside this timeframe (without communication) may be turned away
Please ensure you leave a note with your name, appointment date and any relevant measurements if needed, failure to do so may result in your appointment being delayed/ cancelled.
- Can you provide me hair for my appointment?
Yes, hair from our collection can be provided for your appointment which you can email us at scalpedit@gmail.com
Anotice of atleast one week should be provided, the earlier the better ♡
- What type of hair do you not accept?
We do not accept units that have: large knots, dense hairlines, 99j or any pre-coloured hair (with the exception of pre-highlighted and brown units or professionally coloured units), T-Part wigs, wigs containing synthetic fibre, plastic/grey/green undertone lace. No shein wigs
- Do you accept transparent lace?
Yes, we work with transparent lace, as long as it is thin material.
- Do you offer frontal reinstalls previously not installed by you?
Yes, we do offer this as a service.
Prior to booking, a video of the unit meeting our standards (clean, free off any holes and build up) should be sent to scalpedit@gmail.com
They can be brought on the day of your appointment
- How should i prepare for my appointment?
Wig caps, lace tint is already provided in your appointment. All you have to do is come with small and flat cornrows and ensure your hairline is free of any excess oils/makeup.
It is essential your cornrows are flat.
Please ensure your wig fits ear to ear and is not too big/small before dropping off your hair, as this can lead to your hair not being able to install on the day
(50% appointment balance may apply)
Cornrows can also be done by me if you select it as a add on.
- How long will my appointment be?
Appointment time can range from 1-3 hours.
- Do you allow plus ones?
Unfortunately we do not accept plus ones or kids due to limited space. (please give me a notice as i may be able to accomodate if childcare is unavailable)
- Can i post my hair?
Yes, hair can be posted via royal mail tracked and signed only, please note scalpedit is not responsible for any discrepencies from the delivery company.
- How do i pay my remaining balance?
Your remaining balance is due in cash, there are several cash points adjacent to the studio at your convenience.
- Is there parking nearby?
There is 2 hours free parking on church street and also westfield parking (20 mins walk)
